I was absolutely terrified prior to the team members coming to help me clean up my mother and brother's hoard after they left the family home. However, my fears were quelled about five minutes into working with Scott. The whole team that worked with me was fantastic, but a special shout-out to Scott who chatted with me as he worked like we were old friends. He was kind, compassionate, and worked with a whirlwind-like efficiency that was shocking. I could only afford to book them for one day, and in that time they got the main, community areas of the house cleaner than they had been in ten years. Scott gave me good advice and resources for any work that needed to be done in the future, and kept reassuring me that this was just a Tuesday for him. I was afraid of being judged for not being able to keep up with housework while living with two mentally ill hoarders, and he was so nice about everything. But on the first day I met this amazing crew - Scott, Dave, and the rest of the crew (who names I can remember and I sincerely apologize) - I was immediately put at ease.
